Hi
There is no easy solution to this, as there are two costs to consider, your carrier costs which may be paid for in a variety of different currencies, from a variety of other currencies, and have to be inserted into your database in the base currency, and the exchange rate for those rates should be the one on the day that you paid for the minutes.
For instance, you may get your money in Euro, and pay for carrier costs in USD, therefore there is an exchange rate applied when you convert your money to pay for the carrier charges, which may not be the same as today's exchange rate.
This the problem of enabling different currencies is logically difficult to do, and I would love to hear of a business process that could be employed to managed this.
For the moment, I believe you have three options.
1. Stop the currency update Daemon, and set your own conversion rate in the database. 2. My preferred solution - Set up a second platform in the desired currency. 3. Use the system they way it is designed.
