Great news !!!

http://trac.asterisk2billing.org/cgi-bi ... evelopment

A2Billing has all its developments on SVN server which can be found at http://svn.a2billing.net/svn/asterisk2billing/

svn co --username guest http://svn.a2billing.net/svn/asterisk2billing/
password : guest

The SVN is now open to you, so you can now guys contribute easily to a2billing :
Checkout the Trunk, Branches, make patches, etc... (no commit of course :D)

We hope that this will make A2Billing more transparent and easier to contribute.
Waiting for you to be part of our project!

Let me know if you have any questions.
All the best,
/Areski

That's a great news areski,

I will post my contributions there. But unfortunately, I still think that the framework is extremely difficult to use. Is it a home made framework? or is there a documentation somewhere on the net about it?

Another thing. If we want to submit something to the SVN, do we do it with the same account that we are using in the forum? I didn't try it yet, but I guess that the guest account will be for reading information only, right?

Regards

it's a Home cooked framework!
The code is a bit documented many developers already understand it without too much troubles, but I am open if we want to move towards an other solutions... but just think about the amount of work to do

This account is not with commit rights.
Patch have to be posted on Trac, good contributor will see themselves granted with a personal svn account in order to commit and work directly.

Cheers,
/Areski

Thanks for your reply.

I am willing to do some researches and propose an idea for a framework. I am using many different frameworks right now, and some of them are pretty straight forward and very well documented. THe main idea will be to have some volunteers (including myself of course) developping adapting the existing code. It will be basically to R&D (Rob & Duplicate) the existing code. What do you think?

I checked the SVN, and I didn't see the version 1.2.3 of a2billing. I know that a new version is out, but it's still beta, and those who have the 1.2.3 can benefit from some fixes.

Regards

You might want to chat with Areski to make sure things flow well with future concepts. But one thing if you want to make a lot of people, how about a "Reseller Module" ? Do a search on it and you can see how many people have wanted it.

Hi!

Yes it is good idea and we are going to develop it.

If you have any requests to "Resseler" functionality please send it to [email protected]

Hi

Quite a lot of work is being done on this functionality in version 1.4, currently under development. You may want to have a look at this as well to prevent duplication of work.
