I would like to have one single point for creating my SIP users/friends and that would be Asterisk2billing.

I've added the "include" of "additional_a2billing_sip.conf" into "sip.conf" however Trixbox still does not recognize the users added from Asterisk2billing.

I know Trixbox uses additional_sip.conf but it includes it to "sip.conf" so I thought I would be able to make Trixbox recognize the users added through Asterisk2billing.

I would appreciate any input.

Neither a2b or trixbox actually *read* the sip.conf files. They only write to them, with information from a database table. So, it's not a matter of combining the files but letting the db tables share data.

I am a total newbie here so forgive me if I am asking a simple question. Is the above true? Do I have to manually enter the user in trixbox as an extension to get it to work? I would think I could enter the user in a2billing and it would automatically create the extension/user in trixbox? Am I wrong??
