I just tried this:

Sign up as normal customer then login to the new account the first time. I went to changing the login password, made the change, and system popup say "Your password updated successfully ". After that , it remain in the PASSWORD page and it seems I was still login, but when I clicked "ACCOUNT INFO" (or any other links on the left side) then all of sudden I got a blank page!

I restarted and login back again, then things were normal. I can browse around. Then I changed the password once again, the same blank page hit me again. :(

Anyone has the same problem?

I think you'll find Dynaguy is referring to a dead-end in the customer interface, rather than a bug, misconfiguration or permissions problem.

He's saying when logged in as a customer and doing something perfectly reasonable (changing your password), you are confronted with a blank screen rather than something much more desirable such as: "Password updated successfully. Please login again."

Hello all,

I am hitting the same issue. After the customer changes his password, I get a confirmation box that the password has been changed. Once I hit OK in that box, it takes back to the change password screen. And after that any link I click, it goes to a blank page. I am using A2B 1.3.4.

Anyone found a fix for this yet? The only way to get out of the blank page is to start over from going to the main customer login page and relogging in.

Regards,
Coolreddy.

I'm really pleased that you searched and found, coolreddy. It's a pleasure to welcome you to the forum. :D
I'd forgotten all about this bug languishing here. Perhaps you might want to add it as an enhancement ticket on the bug tracker so it can't be forgotten about so easily again.

OK. As we already forgot about this thread I wouldn't be surprised if your other thread on this topic gets forgotten too. You should really consider using the bug tracker, as it's much harder for something to slip through the cracks.

Oops! I feel so dumb now. :-) I thought that was the bug tracker. I guess I needed some sleep to differentiate between the forums and a bug tracker.

I now filed a ticket at:

Thanks,
Coolreddy
