Hi all,

hope everyone is having fun with a2b! quick question, i'm running several installations of a2b on multiple vpses. so far everything is fine. when i use anyone of the vpses and configure the mail template, the changes are shown beautifully.

now when i got this vps, the emails are showing that they are coming from localhost, and not the email i put into the mail template's fromemail field.

where do i start looking as to how to solve this? all my other vpses do not have this issue and they are running the same versions of freepbx, asterisk and a2b (1.3.4).

thanks in advance for all your help!

bump

so I figured out how to do this. i don't know why it wasn't working in the first place. my problem was that any email being send from a2b was not passing the from email field. the reason this was, is because the $fromemail field fro, the database was not being passed through to the mail message that was being sent out. (i had to make this change to signup_confirmed.php, forgotpassword.php) To rectify this, I changed the $fromname field to $fromemail. This allows the customer to recieve an email that comes from the addy sent from fromemail rather than localhost.

:D

p.s hope this helps someone!
