Hi,

I want to replace a2billing current English sound files with Chinese sound files.
I have found in path /var/lib/asterisk/sounds, there are a2billing sound files, e.g. prepaid-enter-dest.gsm, and I guess replace prepaid-enter-dest.gsm with another Chinese one is not good way.

So I want to ask what is the correct way to localize a2billing IVR sound files? Is there already any posts introduce it?

BTW, I am using Asterisk2Billing - Version 1.3.0 (Yellowjacket) - Release : July 2007, which is provided by elastix 2.0.0.

Best Regard

Hi

Add your new prompts in your chinese directory, usually, /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/ch or wherever your chinese sounds are, you would then set the language in either the dial plan and set the language to ch or in the agi-conf, force language.

Hi jroper,

How should I generate the sound files? e.g. what software should I use to record and edit the sound files?
