I've been thinking of a way to make my life easier.

By default I route to the least cost route. The new LCR Mode (Provider) helps with this. However I charge the same rate to my clients regardless of which carrier I terminate the call with. This means tediously going through different carriers rate cards (with differing prefixes) to match up the rates and unify the selling prices.

My thinking is, I can have one rate card with my own prefixes for selling prices.

This is how I see it working:

1. Customer Dials Number
2. Rate Engine checks my main ratecard for selling price and handles normal checks.
3. Rate Engine looks across other ratecards for the best buy price and routes through that carrier.

I am looking at the best way of achieving this at the moment, probably through modification of the a2billing class.

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas I would be glad to hear it and if I get enough interest maybe we could share the finished result.

Adam

This is also what we are after doing.

Has anyone ever found a way to achieve this functionality?

Unified selling prices per destination across multiple providers that have different cost prices?
