In calling card app, A2Billing prompts the caller to dial a new number when the called party hangs up. So, the user does not have to dial the access number and enter the PIN for a second call.

Is there a way to let the user dial a certain digit, like "*" or "#" so that the called party is immediately disconnected and the caller is prompted for a new number to call? This helps the user when, for example the first call is answered by an automated system and there is a long message, etc.

Any idea on how to implement this?

Your help is appreciated.

Hi

See https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/ ... ation_Dial

The H switch, which is included by default in the dial command parameters in the AGI-Conf.

"H - Allow the calling party to hang up by sending the DTMF sequence defined for disconnect in features.conf."

Actually, it is working allright. My mistake.

There are three dial command parameters in every agi-conf. I did not have the H in the most important one!

:)

Cheers,
