Anyone,

How do i change the maximum duration of a call?

I think by defaul it is set to 1hr by default in a2billing.conf :

dialcommand_param="|30|HL(%timeout%:61000:30000)"

; by default (3600000 = 1HOUR MAX CALL)
dialcommand_param_sipiax_friend="|30|HL(3600000:61000:30000)"

*******************

I have changed this as below :

dialcommand_param="|30|HL(%timeout%:61000:30000)"

; by default (7200000 = 1HOUR MAX CALL)
dialcommand_param_sipiax_friend="|30|HL(7200000:61000:30000)"

********************

This doesn't seem to solve the problem as calls are still being disconnected upon the hour.

Can anyone help with this?

Karrie,

For PSTN calls, the limit is set by %timeout%, so if its cutting out after 1 hour, I think it has to be your carrier. I know there are a couple that have 1 hour limits. Especially if you're trying to go cheap and using one of the "Free" guys for US type calls.

Yes krzykat is right - if you have a descent provider calls should be limited to your credit amount. For sip, did calls limit is one hour unless you change it in a2billing.conf
