hi peoples

i have a situation like this :

2 asterisk2billing systems connected to each other.
when on the second system a client is doing a call the time is billed from the first second.

that is not the correct billing time because the connection time is not from the first second ofcourse.

is there any possibility to have realtime billing in a2b ?

I think what you're looking for is on the 2nd system set "answer=no" ... that way the answer supervision passes along until the call is actually answered and then billing is taking place. Is that what you are talking about ?

when i set answer_call=no in the a2b.conf call drops after about 2 seconds

someone needs to pass the answer supervision. If you state answer=no, then that say's "I'm not responsible for opening the voice path" and the answer supervision is passed down the line. You then want the other system to do the answer supervision.

GSM CARD======Trixbox=====IAX2======Trixbox2===A2B==Client

If client connects directly to trixbox2 then answer supervision works fine therefore trixbox1 is already handling it, what else can be the prob?

Added after 24 minutes:

i also notice that if i put no on the first a2b system the timer starts counting for the 2 or 3 seconds before the call drops

Have you tried to set both systems to answer=no at same time?
