 Post subject: Authentication without the CID

I think A2B can authenticate users by 2 ways either by Card number or CallerID. I just want users to enter card number every time they use the system. I tried to disable ( see below agi_conf ) the CID but the system still remember the CID and won't ask to enter card number the next time user is using the system.

; enable the callerid authentication
; if this option is active the CC system will check the CID of caller
cid_enable=no

Do I have to set anything else to make this happen ? :?

Hi richardn

Check in the A2B web GUI under Customers --> List Customers --> Edit.
At the bottom there is a CALLERIDLIST and it should say there: "No CALLERID".
If there are any, it could explain, why you can still call with CallerID authentication.

Hi devplan,

yes, this does it. I removed the callerID number then the system start asking me for pin number every time I access it. Thanks
