Hello,

i've setup asterisk and a2billing and it works fine (finally ;) ) but how it now works is that i hear a voice message telling me how much money there is and asks me to enter the destination number. but i use sip softphone and i want to simply dial number i want to reach and thats it. i dont want to know how much i have in the balance or anything, ive set the accounts to post-payed anyway. so i want to do sip:123456@IP-of-a2billing and have asterisk dialing it out, i know this is a basic functionality in asterisk but i need to easily show how much much each sip i have is using, so how to do it in conjunction with a2billing. im pretty sure this is a common question, but maybe i dont have the right keywords, i appreciate any hint. thank you.

Read the a2billing.conf file in /etc/asterisk - pay particular attention to agi-conf1 and especially DNID

There will be answers to a lot of questions you did not know you were going to ask.

Thank you, it works well now but i had to do some changes to the dialplan and it works now perfectly ... <s>i wonder if these parameters could be passed to the AGI from the dial plan to treat calls from diffrent sources diffrently,</s> and billing is not working, but i belive i saw a couple of posts about that issue, ill be checking those :) thank you again .

i think i found the one with diffrent behaviours out :), confXX i suppose, sorry for asking before checking out stuff :)

They can be, just add new agi-conf's as required. agi-conf1, agi-conf2 agi-conf3 then adjust your dial plan to point into the chosen agi-conf
