Hello people,
one company, of the group I working for, wants to use the nice a2billing software to act as the man in the middle to exchange traffic between providers, so the call flow should be provider/trunk to provider/trunk instead of user to provider/trunk, I read on the forum about and that should be possible, am I right ?.
The problem is that they'll use H.323 too, so we'll need to define H.323 friends too, in addition to sip and iax friends, I'll checked the source and this addition seems not too difficult for a developer who knows how a LAMP system works, do you agree with me ?
As I'm a beginner with this software, I installed a2billing just some days ago and was able to configure it to let a user call through two different providers/trunk I setup, a sip one and a misdn one, it will take me some time to develop such add on, so is there anyone willing to develop such add on ? We'll pay him for this :)

Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

Marco Bruni

Hi

If you passing the traffic directly though A2Billing using SIP or IAX, then this would be appear to be fairly simple. The fly in the oinment is the insistance on using H323.

H323 support in Asterisk could be better.

I wonder if using Yate as a gatekeeper and SIP/H323 converter before bringing in the call to A2Billing may be the way forward.
