Hello All,

Does anyone know how to incorporate payphone billing in a2billing. As you will probably know, if you have a toll free number set up for users to call and a user decides to call the number from a payphone, the provider of the toll free number will charge something more than the normal per minute rate for the toll free number.

How does one incorporate this into a2billing. At present, my toll free numbers cannot be used from a payphone however I would like to change this.

The key is being able to identify that the call is from a payphone in the first instance.

The solution will depend on the above answer, but there are 2 techniques available to you.

1. In the caller ID prefix in the ratecard, so you force different rates depending on the caller ID

2. There is a setting in A2Billing.conf to add extra charges when certain DID are called.
