prompt message before dialling

Hi I have been using a2billing for 2 months now. The application is great. I just want to ask if its possible if I can play an advertisement before the user can start calling. For example if a user calls for destination I want the user to hear first an advertisement before connecting the call. If its possible how will I do that in a2billing. Thank you.

You may be able to do some custom programming in Asterisk, but it would be simpler to play a message prior to entering A2Billing.

Hi it works. I have this crazy I idea. I know this is a bit ambitious but I just want to know if its possible. Is it possible to replace the ring back when a user is connecting a call with a personalized message. Thanks

Well Saddam Hussain did exactly this as part of his election campaign strategy a few years ago.

Inspect the dial plan parameters, this one may do it for you:-

m: Provide Music on Hold to the calling party until the called channel answers. This is mutually exclusive with option 'r', obviously. Use m(class) to specify a class for the music on hold.
