Sorry if I've missed this.. I can see where I can replenish a customers account each month automaticaly with minutes..

But how can I replenish their customer account each month with a $ amount?

Hi

Only with a process external to A2Billing.

Paypal do not allow you to lift payments from customer's accounts without their active involvement.

So you would have to claim money from customers in an external process, and when received, put the payment into A2Billing, along with the refill.

I'm looking to replenish the amount in a2billing. I'm not concerned with actual funds.. But being able to set a monthly $ threshold as a safety margin. One that's automatically reset each month..

I've not been able to figure how how to do this, but it looks like the auto refill option might be the answer?

What I'm looking for is to give each customer a balance of $500 and than at the beginning of the month top them off to $500. I'm not concerned with actually receiving a payment from them as I handle payments elsewhere. Just as a way of putting a cap on the accounts that resets each month.

I was wondering if you made any progress on this?

I too am looking for something that we can top off an account on a regular basis like weekly, every x days, etc. All of our customers are Postpaid, since we invoice out of another program due to tax/reporting issues. A2B is simply there to provide security and prevent abuse.

You can have A2Billing top up to a preset amount with an auto refill on execution of the cronjob.

So the Autorefill will work in the capacity as I described? Will it refill to a certain amount, or refill with a certain amount? Basically, does it automate the "refill" process, where it will add $x to the account?

Not interested in actually collecting/charging just need a way to automate the refill process to prevent someone from getting blocked...

To put it another way,



Cronjobs are automated jobs used in Linux to automate tasks, so yes the refill cronjob will automate the refill process.

One more clarification - Will the auto-refill also generate an associated invoice?

I'm not sure why you would care, as you are not invoicing from A2Billing.
