Hi all,
I have a small A2B 1.7.x and Asterisk 1.4.x. Now I have a new policy for a customer's group.
In this group, Each customer can register 3 numbers to call with 50% normal rate.
So I have a small question, Can A2B can support this policy for customer's group ? If A2B can support this function, please help me how to configure this policy.

Thank in advance for all helps!
Best regards,
Ryan

Hi

You would have to create a new callplan for each customer, containing all the usual rate cards, then add new ratecard specific to the customer with those telephone numbers included attached to the customer specific callplan.

Hi Joe,
Thank your for your suggest. It means that if this group has 1000 persons, I may create 1000 new callplans and 1000 ratecards, each rate cards adds 3 specific numbers, so that I may manipulate 3x1000 = 3000 times  ?
Can you instruct me other quick method ?
Thank in advance for all your helps!

Best regards
Ryan.

Hi

You could have one callplan, one set of ratecards, and one of those ratecards could include the entire list of numbers for every customer at the discounted rate. But it would mean that all customers can call all others numbers at a discounted rate. But the chances of people calling each others numbers, in most environments, is low, and may be cheaper to accept that loss, rather than stand the admin cost of having to create one callplan per customer, and one extra ratecard per customer.

Hi Joe,
Today, I have tested this function. But it doesn't run correctly.
I have a common rate card for UK with prefix : 44 . So I have created a new rate card for discount. In new rate card, I have added some discount number, ex 4478... with new rate discount. Next, I add this new rate to Common Callplan. I make a call for test . But this call is followed the old rate (prefix UK : 44) in common rate.
Can you help me to instruct the configuration correctly ?

Thanks in advance for all helps!

Is the carrier cost lower than all the others, e.g. 0.0001 for your discounted rates.

Are the prefixes longer than any of the others.

Have you selected LCR in the callplan.

1) Yes, this carrier is lower than all others

2) These prefixes are longer than any of the others

3) I have selected LCR in my CallPlan.

If I have configured a new prefix, ex : 6644.....to this new rate card, I have debugged in A2B, I get an error :
"
ERROR ::> RateEngine didnt succeed to match the dialed number over the rate card (Please check : id the ratecard is well create ; if the removeInter_Prefix is set according to your prefix in the ratecard ; if you hooked the ratecard to the Call Plan)
"
Thank in advance for all helps!

Hi
The error is self explanatory, no rate for the destination is being found.

Recheck your work.

Hi Joe,
This error is in my second solution if I have configured new prefix.
Now I have re-test to add new rate (prefix: 4478...) in same common rate card. I make a call, but this call is followed the old rate with shorter prefix: 44.
Can you explicate me why the longer prefix is not match in this case ?

Thank in advance for all helps!
