Hello,
I am new and not sure if this is the right place to post this problem.

My versions are:
A2 Billing 1.9.4
Elastix 2.3.0
FreePBX 2.8.1.4
Asterisk Asterisk 1.8.11.0

I have followed the video tutorials of sysadminman1.

I was able to get an inbound call working, but outbound does not work.
outbound from an exenstion on elastrix/freepbx works

in the tutorial it says just to use the name of the trunk created in elastix/freepbx.
when i dial in from outside, enter pin, it says my balance, i dial the number it tells me how many minutes i can talk then says the number you have dialed is unavailable, please enter the number you wish to call. Any ideas?

Hi

We would need to see a log, but the usual check is to check that there is a rate for the destination using the rate simulator, and check that the expected digits are being sent to the carrier.

thank you for your reply. I did the rate simulator. I attached the screen shot, but it looks normal.

I made a test call and attached the cli. It's 5 pages long.

Hi

Are the numbers sent to the carrier the ones you would expect. Does the dialstring look as it should?

If you are using Asterisk 1.6 or greater, make sure you have the asterisk version in the system settings (global and agi-conf) set to 1_6

I am using Asterisk 1.8.11.0, so i went to agi-conf1 and entered version as 1_8. Is that correct?

My incoming is working so i called in and made a call. It tells me how much credi it have, says you have 70 credit, not 70 dollars, then it asks me for the number, i dial the number and #, i dial it, it tells me how many minutes i have, then says the number is unavailable. I attached the log, i do not see it sending call to provider.

BTW, this is a test system running on my home lan.

great, that worked! I think since sysadminman1 runs his stuff as a hosted service, he has all this working. I am making notes so i know what to do the next time. Is there some documentation that tells about the version?
