Hi guys,

we need to develop a specific premium pbx for an our customer.
Basically our customer ask us to create a premium support pbx, that it's usable only if the caller has a specific "caller-id".

In this enviroment every "caller-id" (example of caller-id is 12345) are associated at a specific number of minutes of call (Example: caller-id 12345 -> 60 minutes, caller-id 33333 -> 30 minutes...and so on).

This minutes must be decremented when the caller is speaking with an internal..until the minutes end, and the call stop!

I have made a graphic of what we want (just to clarify):

Someone know if with asterisk2billing or with third party addon on the market(of asterisk2billing) is this possible?

Thank you.

Hi

Yes, this can be achieved, and we (Star2billing, Authors of A2Billing) have assisted customers with deploying a similar scenario, e.g. this scenario - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2478 is not so different from yours.

It's simply a case of setting up a calling card style system, but trunking internally to a PBX, e.g. FreePBX. You may need to write some dialplan before calling A2Billing in order to account for any special requirements you have, but all relatively straightforward if you are familiar with Asterisk Dial plan creation, A2Billing and FreePBX.

Yours
