Hello,

I've been searching to pass the good callerid.
I've setup a customer and add it a new callerid :1502xxxxxxx
But making the call, the callerid is always the account number : REALCALLERIDNUM=6692203376
I've play with each option of CLID Sanitize without success.
Finally I added the callerid in the voip settings and now the callerid is good.

But why is used the callerid of the voipsettings and not the one set in the customer ?

1st Subquestion : the callerid passed is missing the 1, it's 502xxxxxxx instead of 1502xxxxxxx : 1?Set(REALCALLERIDNUM=502xxxxxxx)")
2nd Subquestion : I used realtime, I can create a customer and find it in Asterisk but the change of the callerid in the voip setting have not been transfered to asterisk.

Thank you.

Hi

1. It may be your carrier manipulating the caller ID.

2. If you are using rtcachefriends - yes, you will have to reload asterisk.

Thank you Joe,

But 1 question, why I should set the callerid in the voip settings to get the correct callerid ?
Why the callerid set in the customer form is not used during the call ?

Thank you I will check rtcachefriends option.

The caller ID against the customer is used for calling card ANI authentication.

Ok sorry I'm so stupid.
So the only why to setup the callerid is the voip settings or in the dialplan to setup something else.
But without config callerid = account number.

Asterisk will simply deliver what your endpoint delivers to it, unless you tell asterisk something different.

Ok thank you Joe.
I confused both callerid voip and customer auth.

Thank you
