Hi,

Sort of at a quandry here. Our server seems to have hit a bump and won't allow outbound calls. I imported some new rates last night, and made a few changes. Every attempt looks like this:

Code:
    -- Executing [15551234567@a2billing:2] AGI("SIP/runc-00000003", "a2billing.php,1") in new stack
    -- Launched AGI Script /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin/a2billing.php
    -- <SIP/runc-00000003>AGI Script a2billing.php completed, returning 4

I checked the usual culprits -

- rate simulator returns rates found for number, a2billing.php, permissions, etc. seem to be ok. For safe measure reinstalled a2billing, and still nothing. Then I went back through the list of changes I made in the agi-conf1 side of things, as nothing should have changed behavior this badly.

Seems that the culprit was a blank "sip_iax_pstn_direct_call_prefix" that I edited from 555 to blank, since we use the 555 prefix for data calls, and wanted to make sure it wouldn't interfere. I changed it back to 555. leaving all the other changes and the system is working once again. I tried to change it to 1111111 to make sure it's not used, and the system is working. Perhaps a bug that we should allow a null in there? I saw one other post, that had a similar issue, and the only common thing was the blank/null setting for the sip_iax_pstn_direct_call_prefix.

Carlos.

Why would setting this to blank dump the call from even processing?
