Recurring service is a lot more flexible in how often and exactly when each customer is billed, but every customer for whom recurring service is enabled shares the same 'plan'.
Subscriptions are always charged once each month, but each customer can have one of the available subscription plans selected.

Subscription fee applies monthly, at the end of the month.
I believe it's applied on the 1st of each month.

In the "batch update" from "LIst Customers" I didn't saw any option to add the subscription fee to them.
I'd never noticed that lack, but yes, you're correct.

Recurring service is more flexible, and can be assigned to batches of users using "Run Service" at the end of "Batch Update".
And subscriptions are more flexible in that you can charge each customer a different fee, and do it per calendar month, rather than on a 30 or 31 day basis.

How do I check if these services work, except for looking at the balances at the end of the period ( period could be one month...) ?
As the user manual describes, Billing -> List Charge. Or for recurring service: Recurring Service -> List Recurring Service -> View Details.

Using a package is as follows:

Create a package offer, with the number of free minutes you want to include.
Attach your package to your call plan in using the dropdown box under edit call plan.
Edit the rate and set USE FREE TIME TO CALL PACKAGE = yes and repeat for all rates that you want to include in your package offer
Joe

OK. Using the above example I understand how to offer 200 free minutes to 5 countries but how would I offer 200 free minutes to 5 countries and unlimited minutes to Canada?

Yes but that would apply to ALL customers not only those on the package plan.

More accurately, it would apply to all on that callplan.

The Package offer is attached to the callplan, not the customer directly.

So it will provide the solution

but a call plan with free minutes to Canada got nothing to do with a package offer. I don't need to define a package to create a call plan with free minutes to any destination.

That's what you said you wanted, so a callplan with a package offer of 200 minutes to your selected countries will give you your 200 free minutes part of the product, and a rate of zero to Canada willl give you your unlimited minutes to Canada.

Is it possible let us suppose we have a plan of $15/month where per minute charge would be 0.0450 for 30 days, means 333 min include in a plan.

So my couple of questions below:

1) Can we charge user for 30 days from the time they signup?
2) Do we need to use package in this scenario?
3) I read somewhere Subcription is nothing to do with minutes and DID fees? so will this work on my scenario?
4) Can we charge the DID fess on non recurring basis means (only 1 time I want to charge them)?

So I would ask the user to pay $15 for services and $10 for one time DID fees (Total: $25) but after completion of 30days service, I want user to pay for the service $15 in my case or he can chnage the plan from their login panel which would be subscription I guess

I am too much confused on subscription and package.
