When making a call, no ringtone is played.
You just hear silence until someone answers.

This is very confusing.
I found these settings in my a2billing.conf..... and I think they are correct:

dialcommand_param = "|60|HRgrL(%timeout%:61000:30000)"

; by default (3600000 = 1HOUR MAX CALL)
dialcommand_param_sipiax_friend = "|60|HRgrL(3600000:61000:30000)"

Any clue what the problem is?

Use a carrier that sucks less. It's the easiest way to avoid problems with the signalling you're being sent.

It's your route to non-VoIP destinations; the company to whom you pay money for terminating calls to PSTN numbers from your A2Billing. I didn't realise the calls were failing within your own system. From your initial description it sounded like poor performance from your carrier.

So you need to configure A2B to use the exact same termination trixbox is using. I'm not a trixbox user, but I've read posts on this forum describing how you need to set your A2B trunk to 'Local/%dialingnumber%' or somesuch. You'll have to search to find the original post with all the details.

How does buying a ringtone on Itunes work? I have purchased songs before, but how does uploading a ringtone to my phone work?
