changed php.ini as instruction above, still got blank page at freepbx setup.
i did yum --enablerepo=centosplus update
to upgrade mysql and php to 5
now I got two problems
1) freepbx setup page blank
2) asterisk -r
Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)
the file actually exist:
srwxr-xr-x 1 asterisk asterisk 0 Mar 17 06:23 asterisk.ctl
-rw-r--r-- 1 asterisk asterisk 5 Mar 17 06:23 asterisk.pid

I did google for couple of hours still couldn't resolve either issue.
I guess for my problem 2) is because i did a yum remove zaptel...
I don't use any TDM card in my server tho.

Thank you

Hey shuiduo

I will offer what little help I can to try and help you but the issues are not A2Billing so, I don't know how much help you will get here.

first you say the ctl and pid file exist in that directory!!!
Second I'm sure you need Zaptel and libpri even if you do not use cards.
Third make sure the services are starting at boot time.

Some times it's easy to fortett a small detail. Try this old link and go over your upgrade, mainly "Create user and set permissions" and in the last page "Amportal controls" and "Ensure services are starting at boot time". Here's the link, hope it helps you.

Hi Ladca,Thank you.. like you said, it seems something small, it took me a lot of time tho.
both problems are fixed. Both problems are non-a2b related:).

6763 chkconfig --list httpd
6764 chkconfig httpd on
6765 chkconfig --list httpd
6766 chkconfig --list mysqld
6767 chkconfig mysqld on
6768 cd /usr/sbin
6769 ls amportal
6770 ls amportal -al
6771 more /etc/rc.local
6772 amportal restart
6773 service asterisk stop
6774 amportal start
6775 service asterisk status
6776 service asterisk stop
6777 service asterisk status
and I reboot here
then, the CLI is working

For the blank page issue, it's trixbox, I did couple of things.
1) changed php.ini ( still blank after this)
max_execution_time = 90 ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds
max_input_time = 90 ; Maximum amount of time each script may spend parsing request data
memory_limit = 128M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (8MB)
2)added include_path = ".:/usr/share/pear" ( still blank after this )
3)touch /var/www/html/main/js/navDrop.js ( still blank after this )
4) finnally, everything was okay after:

I found:
missing db.php
did:
6852 locate DB.php
6853 updatedb
6854 locate DB.php
6855 pear install DB

Hi

It sounds like something got mucked up in the database upgrade, which is difficult to identify where.

You need to start by enabling the quick profiler in /common/lib/admin.defines.php

This will give you a list of the MySQL commands that are being executed.

You can then execute these commands at the MySQL CLI, and see where the errors are.

You should then be able to work out what is missing.
