 Post subject: How to route calls from callingcard app to termination prov?

Hi. This is probably a very basic question but here it goes: how can I route my call from the a2billing calling card application to the termination provider?

I have a PIAF server running the a2billing calling card application that I enabled just by setting playmenulanguage=YES in a2billing.conf. I am able to receive the calls from my origination provider, I enter the pin number, it authenticates but after it says "you have 100 minutes..." it doesn't connect to my termination provider and it says "the number you have dialed is currently unavailable...".

I have been able to connect to my termination provider from an internal extension and a trunk in FreePBX, but I haven't been able to connect from the a2billing calling card application.

I am not sure if this is an a2billing trunk issue or a FreePBX trunk issue or an outbound route issue. Any orientation will be appreciated.

As that thread seems to beat-around-the-bush (unless of course you wanted to set a screen-saver on your phone prior to configuring A2B), perhaps you'd appreciate some more concise instructions.

It is finally working, thanks God!!

If somebody else asks the same question in the future, the answer is that the name of the trunk in FreePBX must be put in the “Provider IP” field in the a2billing trunk.

There is even a note below the “Provider IP” field in the a2billing trunk that says “… put in the name of a previously defined trunk in Asterisk…”, but sometimes when one is nervous or tired just can´t see the answer right in front of our noses.

I put the same trunk name that works fine in Elastix but still continues the message. Could you help me?

pnav...turn on debug in global settings and check in asterisk -rvvvvvvvvvvvvvv to see what you are missing.
