Hi All,

I guess I have more of an Excel macro and provider's crappy excel sheet of rate. I get an execel sheet from my voip provider which doesn't conform to a proper A2Billing or any proper rate sheet format. Here is a sample:

Dest Country City Rate
USA 1 415,414,417 0.008
Canada 1 416 0.005
Somalia 252 42,57,58 0.24

There are over 1000 rows to the excel sheet. However, they probably list over 7000 rate centers which they have compacted in 1000 rows. What can I do to fix this list to something like this (so that A2Billing can easily import rates):

Dest Country City Rate
USA 1 415 0.008
USA 1 414 0.008
USA 1 417 0.008
Canada 1 416 0.005
Somalia 252 42 0.24
Somalia 252 57 0.24
Somalia 252 58 0.24

This job can't be done manually. Will be really daunting and time conusming. Is there any other way that the excel sheet can be altered easily or maybe something within A2Billing that I am missing?

Thanks

Bruce,
The best editor i have used is open office scalc where you can force semicolons to be replaced by columns. (excel can do this as well) You can then filter which columns you want by a simple fomular (=A1&","A2&.....). Copy and paste the column to a text pad and good you go.
