Hi,
So far I can make my SIP client to dial into asterisk, hear the audio playbacks regarding credits, get asked to enter the number I wish to call, hear the total number of mins left and connect and complete the call thru my VOIP provider.

How do I configure a2billing so that SIP users (authenticated ones), just dial the number they wish to call and get connected. And if the SIP user's account doesnt have enough credits, the call is not allowed to complete.

Create a second agi-conf, and call it from the a2billing context, as this is the default context for VoIP entries in A2Billing, then make a few changes to the agi-conf.

Don't answer the call, as we want the phone to show answered when the called party answers.
Set use_DNID = yes, so we use the dialled digits from the phone.
Turn off all the announcements - as we are not answering the call.
Set number_try to 1, as we will not want a follow on call.
