I am using a2billing for DIDs and I have no problem so far, but we are geting short in DID numbers so I have to use one DID for many people , adding extension to it. Here is the detail :

for example DID number is : 84280000 , so when some one calls this DID , should be asked for the extension number and that extension number ( for example : 123) will be routed to the destination number , +1416123456 . This way I can use the same web interface I am using for DIDs, The point is that how can I pass the extension number dialed to a2biiling while I am unisng this :

exten => _X.,1,deadAGI(a2billing.php|1|did) ?
I want to add "waitexten" and pass the extension number to a2billing as DID , so what a2billing gets is 123 instead of 84280000

Hi

this is fairly basic dialplan stuff.

Send the call into a context that prompts for the number to call using "Read" which captures DTMF and puts it into the variable.

Then it is a simple goto Context,Extension,Priority, where the extension is the variable you captured earlier.
