Hi all.

I have just spent the better part of the night trying to get a2billing to work on my elastix server and finally having some success.

But I do have a few questions which I cant find answers for, and I am hoping someone here can help me.

1) Specific extensions to Specific trunks
Each household or extension connected to our box will have their own trunk. The reason for this is that the voip provider gives us 2000 free local minutes on each trunk (in NZ its standard for all local calls to be free) so I dont want a2billing to route all the calls through the first trunk and use up all their minutes. Each extension has their own 2000 minutes to use.

2) How would I get the first 2000 minutes of local calls only to be free each month, and then charge per minute thereafter?

3) How do I get a2billing to skip reading the balance when they make a call? I am using it for postpaid billing so callers dont want to be interrupted by a balance reading when they call out. I just want a2billing to show them their call history and bill on the customer website.

Thanks for any assistance you can give, it is most appreciated.

1. You would have to create different rate cards and callplans to use different trunks.

2. You can set the number of free minutes allowed in package offer for certain destinations.

3. Switch off the IVR in the agi-conf.
