Hello all
this is my first topic and I'm using asterisk for a long time.
I started to studding a2billing and I'm having some troubles understanding his behavior so I have some questions to make
I already have asterisk configured with trunks with outbound routes working but how does the a2billing behavior with that?
When I add a trunk on a2billing is just for naming it, or in fact it create a new trunk just for the a2billing?
what about routes and prefix?
In my mind I'm confused about the way how the a2billing is expected to make calls thought a trunks
I tried to search some information but no conclusion and I cant find a good manual that I can read to clarify me

Hi

You tell A2Billing about the trunks you have created in Asterisk, and then the rates, rateplans and callplan determine which trunk to use to route the call.

Just to confirm lets say that I have a trunk on asterisk called "Voipout1" , then on a2billing interface on trunk list I just have to add it with the same name?
The field IP adress is important or it is just for have a more complete info about the trunk?

I did that but every time e try to make a call on asterisk cli gives me this message

Follow the instructions in the error message, you have not got a rate for the destination, in A2Billing, if no matching rate, no call.

where I configure the matching rate ?
I try to put on DNID PREFIX the entire number to see if it match but no luck
does I'm doing it on the right way?
