Hello everyone.

I have installed a2billing version 1.3.0 and works "almost" good. I only have 3 problems:

1) In most calls, the first 2 seconds of the communication is not heard anything, in any of the two sides, and then normalizes.

2) In some calls, rarely, but it happens, the extension marks the phone number, and rings across the PSTN answered, the person who recepciona the call can listen well what you say, but the person who has marked the number just heard his own echo.

3) This is in my view the most serious of all. He connected a licea through a port FXO the asterisk, and I configured as a ZAP backbone a2billing. The call is clear and provides good. The problem is that immediately after dialing the number, ring 1 time in the asterisk CLI I can see that the call is answered, I guess it is answered by the cell line, then left in total SILENCE for about 7 seconds and starts to timbrar again, if you start now timbrar really do respond.

This is not serious drawback, but both outside because 7 seconds is too much and most people are bored and simply hangs.

Any kind of help, I would be very grateful. :) :)

Hi

You might be better off with 1.3.2, the current version.

Your issues would appear to be more Asterisk related than A2billing.

Can you test without A2Billing to see if you are experiencing the same problems.

Yours

Joe

I'll go a step further than our good man Mr. Roper and directly say these problems cannot be caused by A2B.
voip-info wiki contains lots of useful information on configuring and debugging Asterisk, although I believe all three of these problems might well be caused by your carrier.
