Hello everybody,

I have a2billing 1.3 on a 4.0 debian etch.

The fact is that I have noticed that the calls do directly with an asterisk are much more sharp, unlike the calls that pass through a2billing, who have a very notorious echo.

How could improve this, any ideas? Please help.

A2B doesn't get involved in the audio stream, so it can't be causing this problem. Perhaps A2B is influencing choice of codec or carrier to produce these results; if you were to test under identical conditions with Asterisk alone you would experience the same results. As ever, searching "echo" on voip-info shows a lot of useful info, which should set you on the right track.
In the past I've also had this problem reported to me by one customer who was using a hands-free speaker phone with poor echo-cancellation. He then tried again using the speakers/microphone built into a laptop.

Mmm ... Might have something to do with this error that sent the asterisk CLI so often?

[Feb 12 07:55:47] WARNING[3748]: file.c:638 ast_readaudio_callback: Failed to write frame
a2billing.php: file:Class.A2Billing.php - line:635 - [CARD STATUS UPDATE : UPDATE cc_card SET inuse=inuse-1 WHERE username='6653']

I have been searching and can not find anything. :(

No, that one's just cosmetic. Asiby fixed it recently anyway.
You're not going to find the answer to this in the output of A2B. If anything it will be Asterisk's own output that provides the clue. This recent post of mine has a few other pointers.
