The only way I'm aware of is 'cid_auto_assign_card_to_cid' in a2billing.conf. Be aware that this can be abused by spoofing CID.

Do you want it removed all the time a particular trunk is used?

If you are trying to use some cheapo internet unlimited log distance connection like vonage viatalk etc then your caller id will be on the calls out of course. It is your choice to offer a lower class of service to your clients. If you still want to do this then you contact your trunk provider on how to do this. Usually it is something like *67 then you can enter that into the " ADD_PREFIX" section of the trunk in a2b.

*88 than Remove Caller ID From Calling Card

Personally I would think it would require a solution that not many people here would be interested in, but hey it is worth asking about.

You could however very easily get someone to program a little addon to asterisk to provide this function.
