i peeked took a peek at the command line to see why international calls were nto going through but they were going through my asterisk. Quick fix was to copy the same dialing rules (some providers require 011 00 01 etc and I have 8 different providers) that I have in asterisk to a2b. Why not by default just follow the same rules that is setup in asterisk?

Thank you

Because passing calls back to the Local channel is known to cause problems affecting billing accuracy and the alternative, parsing the Asterisk dialplan, is overkill.
You can already strip and add prefixes for each of the trunks defined in A2Billing. Is there something more needed here?

Nothing more. I just thought it was redundant to copy the existing rules from asterisk to a2b. It would make sense if a2b was a standalone product not needing asterisk, but it is not.

Thanks
