hi, I have a problem, IVR of a2billing have random time for enter, mi problem is more complex because the interconection is on R2 signalling, also, when I call to IVR the time of a response is random, I need a quick response, somebody can help me.

I believe you're saying that delays (filled with silence) are being introduced into your calls. A2B won't be doing this deliberately, but may be causing it as a side effect. Things to check:
1) a call using R2 signalling delivered to a simple Asterisk dialplan functions as expected without delays
2) you've installed all the prompts that came with A2B correctly
3) your server has enough RAM; this could easily be caused by paging
4) your SQL server is tuned for the hardware it's running on
5) your load average isn't significantly above 1.00 (or 2.00 for a dual-core CPU, etc)

my problem is to call set-up, time is very high, the order of 5 to 10 seconds to the entry of IVR, and as you know my señalizacion is that the R2 amount of time about 8 seconds. Approximate 18 seconds, variables for my asterisk answer the call. thanks. apparently everything is okay, databases are well and the system works perfectly except for this delay

RAM 4G
dual-core processor

no, my problem is when start

Load Average 0.04
CPU 1% max
Memory
App Memory 5%
Swap 0%

Disks / 3%
/var/run 0%
/var/lock 0%
/dev 0%
/dev/shm 0%
/lib/modules/2.6.24-16-.. 3%
Networks
eth0 receive 0.14 KB/s
eth0 transmit 1.01 KB/s
eth1 receive 0.00 KB/s
eth1 transmit 0.00 KB/s

Asterisk OK
MySQL OK
Web Server OK
SSH Server (Warn)

OK, any delays before the call is answered cannot be caused by A2B. If you had checked point 1) above I think you would have proven this for yourself.
I know very little about R2 myself, except that there are at least 20 incompatible variants in use around the world. I can only suggest that you search Asterisk support sites for further advice. Once you have Asterisk alone working satisfactorily with R2 then I'm sure you'll find A2B works without delay too.
This looks like a very informative page.
