Hi,

I need to set a ring group in asterisk which will ring several extensions and then bill the answered call to a card in A2B, is this possible?

Yes

set up a trunk of type local to your ring group context. create a rate to the number of your ring group, and make it select the local trunk.

can i ask you how to create a local trunk to my ring group? can you be more specific with your discrιbe?
im new to asterisk and a2billing,
i have setup asterisk freepbx and a2billing and works great, (dial===>cardnumber===>authentication ===>dial number ) (this is works)
i also want to do this " The customer calls in to a DID phone number, give the cardnumber, then when authenticated and verified with available funds
we forward them to a local ring group, and the billing engine start when somenoe answer the call.

i would apreciate any help

Hi

You do this in trunks in A2Billing.

In the technology type put local.

in the dial string, put something like %diallingnumber%@from-internal

Create a ratecard that uses that trunk, and ensure you have a rate for your ringroup number.

Add the ratecard to the call plan

test.

thanks for your answer,

Right now
when a make a call to my company ask the card number, when customer gives the card number then the voice to prompt me to enter destination, i enter 800 (ring group) and extensions rings. :)

one last question :) ,

there is a voice prompt asking to enter the destination number. is there a way to eliminate that?
Just when someone make a call in to my company and give the card number then the call forward in ring group (800) without dialling number by the customer.

i have all ready set use_dnid= YES
i follow some information from viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4970&hilit=from+internal

but nothing :(
