I’m new on Trixbox and A2Billing. I have A2Billing and TrixBox installed. And have a phone number attached to the system. I can call this number as phone card service. I also setup a card account can use SIP direct connect to the system.

If we call the number to make phone call. All good. When I use x-lite direct connect to the system by SIP. If the x-lite in LAN behind router all good even using external public IP address. However, only when I use x-lite out of network, phone is ringing and connected but no sound and then phone end-up after a few seconds.

It seems like a NAT issues. But confuse is why it can go through with a phone number into the system without any issues but just have a issue with SIP. All setup are the same except say_balance_after_auth and say_timetocall.

I have tried so many suggestions I can search on the web but no luck. UDP Port 5076 is used on SIP and forward to internal Trixbox. Port 10001-20001 also forward to Trixbox. Anyone can help me? setup file attached.

Thanks.

Ken

We don't support Asterisk here, and the issue you have is with Asterisk alone. You'll probably get better responses on a site dedicated to supporting Asterisk. That said, Wireshark and/or tcpdump are invaluable when diagnosing these kinds of issues, as is a thorough understanding of SIP
