Hi Everyone,
I used to experience this problem once in the blue moon, whereby my a2billing user's "IN USE" changed from "currently in use: 0" to "currently in use: 1" hence call failed when it is 1 instead of 0 and I had to manually change it back to 0.

However, just today the problem seems to be affecting one particular user frequently, ie everytime after making a successful call, the "IN USE" changed to 1 and blocked all calls placed after that.

Is there any fix for this bug? Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Thanks.

INUSE not returning to 0 after a call indicates that A2B is terminating abnormally; you're probably not billing these calls, or writing an A2B CDR for them at all.

The fix depends on exactly what is causing the issue. You need to consult your Asterisk, PHP and SQL log files around the time of a call that results in INUSE remaining >0.

Hi stavros,
Thanks for your tips!

Could you please enlighten me on how to go about debugging it? I really appreciate if you can guide me on this considering no changes were made to the settings but the problem crops up rapidly (having the problem occurred immediately after each successful call) today.

Thanks!

ps: I just realised I made a mistake in posting this thread. It should go under a2billing 1.3 instead of 1.2.x.

If it happens after every call then it's likely you haven't got working pcntl support in your PHP, or you are using AGI() instead of DeadAGI() to launch A2B, both of which have been covered ad-nauseam here already.

As I said in my previous post, your first port-of-call should be enabling verbose debugging in all relevant applications and read their log files at the time the problem occurs.
