Hi, we are trying to do a new feature for our customer. We have a dedicated client for our customer to use on many platform, and on first launch, if the customer is a new customer. We will automatically create an account for the person with 0 value. In order to do this, we must allow the client software to invoke some method on our server side from remote the generate the user. I notice in admin page, there is generate customer function, and I am trying to recycle some of the code there. But since I am here, looking for help, apparently the progress is not good. Any hint? help? inspiration? and yes, I am using 1.3. and most likely the company is not going to upgrade soon. thanks in advance! |

I would stongly advise an upgrade to 1.7.1 for all sorts of reasons, not least because there are some SOAP methods that may allow you to do this. Joe |

hi, joe! thx for ur quick reply. But policy wise, I can't really ask the company to just change, the manager are cautious about stability and compatibility issue. But talking about SOAP, actually just now I get a error about it, seems like the server can't get the currency info from Yahoo. Do u know how can I remove it? I can't locate that piece of code. |

Hi Another good reason for upgrading to 1.7.1, yahoo finance have changed stuff, and it is broken on all versions of A2Billing except 1.7.1 Joe |

Hi, Joe: Damn I think I miss out that in the change log. I think I need to discuss that with my team. but still, can u roughly tell me where the code could be located? I need to fix it for the time period before the make the decision. |
