If i set ratecard to remove prefix 00 or 011 i cannot dial USA destinations correctly. I dial 1618xxxxxx illinois number - a2billing removes 1 for some reason. In order to dial 1618 - i have to dial 0111618xxx. That's an interesting bug.

If i set calling plan - to do not remove prefix - it's fine, but i need that feature. Any ideas??

Check your a2billing.conf for this:


; List the prefixes that will be stripped off if the call plan requires it
international_prefixes = 011,00,1

just remove the 1 portion, does that fix for you?

My ratecard simulator is still acting out -> is it reading a2billing.conf when looking for rates in admin ratecard simulator?

So now i dialed 1720xxxx - it didn't touched the 1 prefix, it dialed out fine to usa number, but in my logs it is saved as russia number and charged as call to russia. Russia prefix is 7.

Looks like rate card still doesn't match correct number, but it corrected my prefix problem.

I think simulator uses it too. I was doing simulator after logging into my account to my number 1561.... and it was showing me Chile -> so then I found that the a2billing.conf now controls that in 1.3 I set for just 00, and 011, and then it worked as I wanted.

ok it's fixed. l think i need a nap. I have a2billing on separate server, with different a2billing.conf - i changed prefixes on that too and it worked.
