Hi Everyone,

I have A2B 1.3.3 and I found that when I use: (advanced_mode = yes) in a2billing.conf and create progressive rate, my extracharge is not deducted.

If I leave all the field in the progressive area of the ratecard blank (or set to 0), then extracharge is deducted (of course that defeats the aim of progressive billing)

If I set advanced_mode = no; then extracharge is deducted properly.

Is this working as designed, or is it a bug?.

Regards
Dolapo1

There is no bug there. As soon as you activate the advanced features, it will show the progressive rate fields. Now, if you use the progressive rates field, then the flat rate fields will be ignored. They only stay available to you so you won't loose the data stored in them.

Thank you.
The question is: Does extracharge still work when using progressive rate.

I setup extracharge for a specific access number (to recover my cost). If I then use progressive billing; will I lose the extrachanrge functionality?.

If so, how do we provision for extracharge when using progressive billing.

Regards

I think that it might not work. Cause the extracharge_did is applied using a flat rate. That is some thing that might need so rethinking.
