I have done a system upgrade to

A2B 1.3.4

And asterisk version is 1.4.22

I am facing some issues with the Speed Dial, dialing out. When I dial the speed dial after dialing in the extension or Access Number. After the prompt I enter the speed dial number followed by # doesnt get through (first time).

Then I dial again (second time) the speed dial number followed by # and the call gets through. Everytime I dial speed dial I have to dial it twice or two times to get though.

Any clue why? Attached Asterisk Console logs.

Hi

Sounds like a DTMF issue.

Thanks Joe

I am using rfc2833 and these below are my DTMF config in sip.conf

relaxdtmf=yes
dtmfmode=rfc2833
rfc2833compensate=yes

I am wondering if it is a DTMF issue why only for speed dials only. When entering the destination numbers while prompted it passes through and no errors.

It seems you're falling foul of the prompt to enter the SIP friend number, probably because a speed dial is only 2 digits long.
The simplest way I can see to work around this is to set sip_iax_friends=NO in a2billing.conf. Of course this might not be suitable for you.
