Post subject: | Database slow down |
Im using a2billing from 2010 nov1 constantly got 12-30 paralel calls. From last month when I ask CDr report its take around 10 min to give the result and this braking the calls. Before 2 days everything is start to slow down. I take a look on asterisk cli and I see the a2billing.php process is so slow and sometime its stop simply starts calls but cant get to end and I see on freepbx status the active calls just raise and its equal with active channels. When I restart the server than for some time its ok but after a time its start again! Im using server with 4gb memory. But I nead to save records for more years. Is there a solution for this? there is installed version Asterisk2Billing - Version 1.3.0 What can I do? |

Hi In version 1.4 and above, there were some optimisations to the CDR records and other areas, I would recommend against using anything but the latest version in production. Upgrade, and see how you get on. How many CDR and customers do you have. Joe |

Its around 20 users and around 20 CC. I will set up on new server 1.4 and test it. Can I import 1.3 to 1.4 directly? Ervin |

Hi there is a guide here :- viewtopic.php?f=33&t=8650 The main difference with an upgrade is that you will have to apply each MySQL upgrade script in turn from the version you are on. Joe |
