Hello All,

As we all know, users on a general concesncous, are dumb. As harsh as it sounds thats all there really is to it.

As such customers can't really easily figure out how to generate their own invoices in the customer panel for a2billing. What i would like to do, which i have been researching with my own scripting, is automatically on a specific day of the month (globally or user specific) generate a customers invoice for that date to one month ago, and email it out to the recorded email address.

Is there any such feature easily obtainable inside a2billing? I ask this as my research into what coding i will have to add is quite large and possibly time consuming. I am probably thinking about it the wrong way though. But all help is appreciated

I've not played with this feature as much as I should have done, but there is a cronjob you should be running that produces the invoices, and the day to do this is set in A2Billing.conf

I guess you mean "reports" and not "invoices..
In my country, at least, an invoice is a legal document. It is supposed to be written and edited by the company and not the clients.
The one that a client prepares and may have any sum, is just an informal one, a "report".

Given that, you may still allow your clients to pay/top-up their accounts with an arbitrary amount. Their /statements/ then will sum up all the payments and *invoices*, so that the customers know their money situation.

Remember, anything that involves real monetary transactions, may have legal implications..

I have installed A2Billing 1.9.4 and set things up in such a way that an invoice is created on a specific day.
I have also set up e-mail so the client can receive the invoice via e-mail.

1. I would like to send an e-mail automatically on that specified day to the client with the invoice attached to it – not just that which
is put into the "invoice_to_pay" e-mail template.
2. I would also like to have the report of the month’s calls included in the invoice.

Can someone advise me on how to do this?
