Hello - I'm working on implementing an auto-recharge feature (for prepaid customers) that gets triggered when the balance is $1.00 (or any other specified amount). This while the customer is conducting a call.

Is there a way to extend the timeout on the dialcommand_param (S or L option) once the call has been established?

Any other thoughts on how to implement? I'm thinking perhaps setting a longer timeout for those customers with auto-recharge feature turned on? Then, how to trigger the recharge while the call is still active?

The mechanism of A2Billing is that it works out the total possible duration of the call, then sends a dial to asterisk saying keep this call alive for x number of minutes, then forcibly disconnect.

I do not think it is going to be possible to extend "L" in mid call.

Thanks very much Joe! I inferred this from an older post you had on the forum, but now you have confirmed.

I will work on this for the next few days and post my work once it all works. I am going with the option of adding extra time beyond that provided by the existing balance for those accounts with auto-recharge enabled and active. The balance will go negative in this scenario and at that point the auto-recharge will be triggered.

In fact, I have all this almost figured out with a few lines of code, but having trouble with a web service (for the actual credit card recharge) I'm trying to run out of the a2billing.php (& includes) file. My guess is this is due to the STD OUT configuration for AGI. I'll keep working on it and post again in the next few days.
