Post subject:  Conversation Background Music or Sound

Hello, this is my first message in the forum, I am testing A2Billing Version 1.4.2.1 and am very satisfied with it.

I need a strange option I don´t really know how to do, I need to play a sound file DURING a conversation, like a message or music in low volume in the background. I have looked at the php files from A2B and it seems possible with the $agi-> stream_file command, I simply don´t know how to implement this. I also think that $agi-> stream_file by default only streams to the internal, local side, not to the outside called person, i wish that both can hear the message.

Do you think this is possible to do ?

Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.

Regards.

There are probably more elegant ways of doing it, but I wonder if you can get both legs of the call into a conference, with the third attendee playing the music.

I think that converence is a good way to do it, and it seem to be possible but I don´t know how to automate the process and integrate it in a2billing php code.

Creating a conference room in Elastix, inviting two extensions (one of them can be a sound-player) and calling out do work, but as we are forking to A2Billing it´s here where the thing must happen and not in elastix or asterisk i think.

The PHP code from a2billing is just too complex for me to make such a thing.

Imagine a customer that auth. via a valid calling card, than calls the outgoing number and the call begins, i just want to play a sound file so that the called person can hear it, or the two persons can hear it if it is a conference...

Hope anyone have an idea

Regards.
