For our own benefit, I'm going to add some features to the customer interface in A2Billing, including call forwarding, turning caller ID on and off, and changing voicemail settings. When I'm finished I'll be submitting my code to the A2Billing project for consideration, since I'm sure other people would find these features useful.
But first I have a question that I'm having trouble with:
I've figured out how to add a new item to the "permission user interface" list under "Customers->Groups" in the admin interface, but for whatever reason the new items don't show up in the customer interface, even after editing the template to use the new item just like any of the other items present. There seems to be some kind of database entry that needs to be added. What needs to be done to make this work?
