I want to make sip/iax friends talk to each other for free,but charge them if they dial out from trunk,

so now I can charge them if they dial out from trunk,but I can't talk to some other sip/iax friends using a specified sip/iax friend ,when I dial a sip friend like 4289182340,i 'm told "The number you have dialed is ...unavailable...please enter you number and try again", Anyone knows plese help

You mean when you dial 94289182340 ??

In fact,no matter I add a prefix 9 or not,it makes the same

When it say's "unavailable" - that means the number dialed is correct - otherwise it should say "there is no sip/aix number that matches".

So now we know you dialed properly ... so the next thing is that its telling you - I can't connect there. So do this:

Go to the CLI, and type:

Sip show peers like 4289182340

And see what it say's. It should say under status "OK (155 ms)" or something like this. If it say's "UnKnown" or some other status ... that means it can not call to it.

Oh and for people that read the post I listed on Request for "user status" - this is a prime reason why I think we should have it on the user interface.

i want to dial the card alias because im using the same numeration im using in trixbox... dont know if its possible to do that...

I have been trying to get calls from SIP friend to SIP friends working with no success. I have enabled the options in the a2billing.conf file as suggested. The SIP phones are able to register. No matter what number I dial I get the default IVR - "Enter PIN".. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Once you get your SIP authentication solved (in the other thread you're active in today) you can move on to dialling SIP friends:
You need to dial 555CARDALIAS, where CARDALIAS is found in both the admin and customer UIs.
