You can have as many trunks as you want, but what do you mean by hunt group?

We have several trunks for the same destination, these trunks are from linksys spa3102 for pstn. A hunt group was set up in asterisk where asterisk checks to see if a line is available to make the call and worked fine but a2billing does not recognise this. So what i want to do is have a2billing use the hunt group which was created in asterisk or have more than 1 failover trunk so lets say there a 4 trunks intended for the same destination the main trunk would have 3 other failover trunks so it would search for an available line.

I am building that feature right now. It's not done yet.

What you could do (I have not tested it) is to create a trunk to point to 127.0.0.1, add a prefix to your dialing so that if it detects the prefix, it would dial the trunk. However you will need to make a custom app to make it run.
