Hello All,

My Trixbox is remote to me. I was upgrading my MySQL 4 to MySQL5. During the course of upgrade, some of the files are corrupted. Now, I am planning on to the re install the whole thing.

How do I go about as I the server is remote to me ? At this point of time, I cannot have someone there to have TB installed for me.

Is there an alternative by which I can have direct install from the WEB using "wget" commands ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Think you'd get a better answer in the proper forum.

www.trixbox.org

(but here's a clue on what I do if you can .... when putting a server off-site - put the boot trixbox CD in the CD drive. Then have KVM over IP and disable the CD drive in the BIOS. Then if you ever are in current situation, enable CD drive and reboot)

Thank You for your apt response. I've already posted this topic on the trixbox's offical website. Astonishingly, I've got no response from there.

Since we do have trixbox users on the a2billing forums, I was anticipating that someone like you out there could be a great help.

Your solution would be definitely workable for my future implementation. Nevertheless, it does not provide a resolution to my current problem. At this point, for the next 8 - 10 days, I cannot have someone out there in physical to access my remote box.

Any other alternatives ?

Your assistance is still highly appreciated.

OK Pal !

Asterisk is messed up. It does not come up now when I upgraded MySQL 4 to MySQL 5.

From the DB tables, I see that there is no 'maint' user.
